- Make sure you have enough supplies
- Shovel the oil fills
- Get into your basement – Shovel a path through the snow
- Clean out the dryer vent
- Clean out gutters – the downspout ends
- Disconnect hose from the outside downspouts
- Reverse ceiling fan to blow the air down
